  We have a skill center at Shonpocha river island, Sariakandhi, Bogura. Many women in rural areas go through issues such as early marriages, early childbirth, and lack of nutrition among others. Amal has built 5 sanitary toilets at Chukainagar river island and Sonatola, Bogura. In these villages, people did not have access to proper sanitation. Now, 50 families have access to sanitary toilets and a better healthy lifestyle.

Amal has setup 145 tube-wells in Bogura Zila, concentrating in the villages and river islands. This project has helped more than a million people have access to safe drinking water in the places of Shariakandhi, Shonpocha, Chukainogor, Gopatoli, Darail, Hatkhola, Adomdighi, Motpukuria, Kochcui, Koroy Bazar, Sabbath, and others.

Amal has also set up 97 tube-wells in Shirajgonj. More than half a million people now have access to safe drinking water at Raiganj, Sirajganj, Khokshabari, Ghaturia, Kumarbari, Ranigram, Kalibari, Ghoila, Akdala and others.

Amal foundation has built a community health care center at Shonpocha Chor, a remote island in Bogura. Here, the underprivileged locals have to travel 3 hours for a medical emergency. Seeing a doctor is a luxury for them. More than thousands were given free medical aid as well as medicine and nutrition-based food pack by our community health care center. Also, we provide regular sessions on hygiene counseling.

Every year flood wash away parts of North Bengal. Amal has provided emergency relief and distributed clean water, food, sanitation and shelter to the flood-affected places. In August 2016 we provided food, clothes, medicines and some necessary needs to 2500 flood-affected people in Sonpocha village in Sariakandi. FLOATING HEALTH CAMP:

FLOATING HEALTH CAMP:

Amal has organized free-floating health camps to support more than 10,000 flood victims during monsoon season every year in Shariakandhi and Sirajgonj. In these health camps, people have been provided basic treatment with medicine and nutrition. Further, we have also helped take critical patients to the nearest city hospital.

Amal has distributed warm clothes and winter kits to the under the privileged community of Bogura and Sirajgonj area to help them survive the winter. Every year we distribute winter kits to around six thousand people only in this two area.

 We have distributed 20 auto-rickshaws to 20 family’s men in Bogura city to empower themself and live a better life with their family.

The underprivileged community cannot celebrate Eid-ul-Adha by sacrificing an animal in the name of Allah. Every year Amal helps those people to celebrate Eid by sacrificing animals(Goat and Cows) on behalf of them and distribute the meat among them.

Amal has provided emergency relief and distributed clean water, food, sanitation and shelter to the flood-affected places of Dinajpur. Amal has provided emergency relief to around 15000 thousand flood victims in Dinajpur.
