The Amal Tailoring Center is a one-year skill development initiative dedicated to empowering communities through advanced training in tailoring and block printing. Located at Fulbari Police Fari, Bogura, the center provides hands-on, high-quality instruction to 100 participants, equipping them with market-relevant skills to improve their livelihoods and achieve financial independence.

Funded by One Ummah Charity, UK, the project focuses on enhancing participants’ technical expertise in advanced garment construction, precision tailoring, pattern making, and finishing techniques, alongside the creative art of block printing. This dual training approach combines traditional craftsmanship with modern practices, enabling trainees to produce high-quality clothing and custom-designed fabrics that cater to diverse customer preferences.

Over the course of the year, the program will not only build technical capacity but also foster creativity, confidence, and self-reliance among participants. By the end of the training, participants will be equipped to start their own tailoring businesses, take up employment in the garment industry, or offer specialized design services, contributing to their household income and the local economy. The Amal Tailoring Center will serve as both a learning hub and a stepping stone toward sustainable livelihoods and community development in Bogura.
