When disaster strikes, the need for help is immediate, and the road to recovery can feel insurmountable. In the wake of devastating floods, entire communities in Bangladesh are left to cope with the destruction of homes, livelihoods, and the basic necessities of life. The Flood Aid Distribution Campaign by Amal Foundation was launched in response to these critical needs, ensuring that those most affected could begin their recovery with the essential resources needed to survive and rebuild.

The campaign focused on providing immediate relief to families and individuals who had lost everything. From food and clean water to clothing and hygiene products, Amal Foundation sought to ensure that no one was left behind in the aftermath of the disaster. In 2024, the initiative reached the hardest-hit areas, including Feni and other regions severely affected by flooding, distributing life-saving supplies to the most vulnerable populations.

Through swift and organized action, Amal Foundation worked tirelessly to provide 2,835 food packs, containing essential staples such as rice, lentils, flour, oil, and other basic provisions, ensuring families could sustain themselves in the aftermath of the flood. In addition, 730 clothing packs were distributed to individuals who had lost their belongings, offering them warmth and protection against the cold.
