Conventional power infrastructure may be inadequate or prone to disruptions, leaving communities in these areas vulnerable to energy shortages which hampers their day to day lifestyle. 

Solar Home Project, a pioneering initiative by Amal Foundation and United Finance in Maijbari Char, Kazipur upazila, Shirajgan was introduced that embraces the power of solar energy to illuminate lives of 8 homes and 1 school. This transformative project aims to bring sustainable electricity to underserved communities, particularly in remote areas with limited access to conventional power sources. By installing solar home systems, Amal seeks to empower households, providing clean, reliable energy for lighting and basic electrical needs. The Solar Home Project not only addresses energy poverty but also contributes to environmental sustainability, fostering a brighter and greener future.
